I am a multidisciplinary creative director and performance maker working at the intersection of opera, theatre, and choreography. My practice is rooted in performance as a living, embodied language—one that allows for the exploration of memory, identity, and the complexities of human experience. Trained in Theatre and Performance at the University of Cape Town, I approach creation as a process of composition, where the body, voice, image, and space function as interdependent elements. My work often begins with a conceptual inquiry, which I translate into immersive performance worlds that merge movement, text, music, and visual design. I have developed and staged original works across various festivals, engaging diverse audiences through productions.
