I've always loved fashion. As a kid in primary, I would get lost in fantasy land making sketches of dresses upon dresses. By the time I was in secondary school, I'd fallen in love with fashion magazines, glossing over beauty items and pairing pieces in my mind's eye to see what matched. I'd also started some sewing projects by hand — a fancy, never to be worn bag, a nightdress, some alterations, some fixes. By the time I was done with secondary school, I was excited to start learning tailoring from my aunt. Oh 'twas hectic, because I was literally running my parents home — cleaning, meal prep and serving, grocery shopping, laundry, and the list goes on — while also preparing for the JAMB exams into the university. But I learned well and kept learning till I figured, hey I love to style!
