Through my art, I probe, question, critic and celebrate my society. Borrowing from the vocabulary of African motif, batik tradition and textile imagery, I am reinterpreting what I see around me, my art reflects my continuous dialogue and conversation with my society. I live in a post-colonial Ghana (Africa). My art questions and search for this post-colonial identity by incorporating African traditional values through a selective use of African motif with deep philosophical meanings. This is m
