I don't just think about how a garment looks—i think about how it lands: the weight of the fabric, the way a sleeve breaks, how something moves when someone walks or reaches. I probably notice badly placed seams or stiff silhouettes on strangers in coffee shops and can't unsee them. What makes me different from a pure artist is that i design for real bodies, real motion, real life. That means i likely had moments where a piece i loved on the form felt wrong on a human—and those moments made me better, not bitter.
